With R starting after 1 and it gets dark about 4 or so we thought...
It was cold but bright on and off no need for any windproof outer layers.
1.
Nice 4r to right of fairway. 2nd just right of green. 3 on and off frozen green. On green in 4 and 2 put.
2.
Nice 3w onto fairway at left. slow progress to green in 7 and 2 put.
3.
Nice 1st shot layup before lake, 1 duff, 1 nice shot that went over back of green on in 4 and 2 put.
4.
Nice 3w onto fairway, then I cant remember on green in 7 including 1 pen for getting into ditch.
5.
1st shot went right into trees. 2 off the tee (special rule) and got onto the green and 2 put.
6.
Nice 3w onto fairway.over back of green in 4 onto green in 5 and 2 put.
7.
Great tee shot onto green and 2 put for par. Golf is easy when its like this!
8.
3w went right onto 18th fairway, Nice shot to get back in right direction. I think this was another of those skidding off frozen green to add an extra shot or 2.
9.
In to sun, went left near 150 post. Poor shot just n front of ditch. 3rd into bunker, 4th on green and 2 put.
Then round again...
1.
Nice 3w shot went further than on 1st round still on right of fairway. 2nd just in front of green, green in 3 and 2 put.

Nice 3w shot to left again. 2nd shot with 4r a bit of a duff that went just infront of ditch. 3rd over ditch, 4th over back again. on green in 5 and 2 put.
3.
Shorter iron shot but in nice grass in front of lake. Good 2nd shot over lake and over back of green. on green in 3 and 2 put.
4.
Not quite so good 3w to right of fairway in rough. Took some free relief to avoid hitting some new trees. Nice chip onto fairway. Steady progress over back of green in 6, green in 7 and 2 put.
5.
Went right again before road. Nice chip using road to aid bounce. on green in 3 and 2 put.
6.
Not such a good 3w went left and was lost so 1 pen. (also lost a 2nd but we let that go). Next shot half way up hill. Next shot over back of green and 2 put.
7. Tee shot just short of green on grass after bunker. Nice chip and 2 put.
8.
Nice 3w on correct fairway this time. Got just in front of green in 4 ended up with 8.
9.
Short backswing with 6i got to 150. same again got to left of fairway about 30 to go. Chip onto green and 2 put.
2nd half better than first...should have gone round again.
We finished just after 4 and it was still light (helped by clear skies)
So some excuses:
The sun was very low and it forced some low shots to avoid losing the ball
The green were very hard so several shots that would normally have stopped didn't.
