There is a practice pitch and put area with a bunker and a couple of good greens for putting.
I went along with R for a practice as the weather had not been good enough to play 18 holes.
This was a repeat of last year when I got my new sticks.
We did chipping onto the chipping green at 20/30/40/50/60 and 70 Yds.
This year I was almost as good (lucky as?) R. Last year I had no idea where the
ball might end up. So my short game is definitely better than it was a year ago.
We also did a bit of raking the bunker and a bunker practice. The sand was too wet but I managed a couple of shots out with the correct amount of sand. Its hard to aim behind and under the ball!
Finally we did some putting and again I was as lucky as R!
Mental note to come back to play here (its where it all started a couple of years ago).
Play the 9 hole again and have a bash at the 18 hole.
Great fun, must do some range practice before the weekend.
